PARTY ROOM

The Party Room is available for rent to Hallmark residents over the age of 18 for non-commercial events (up to 49 people, as allowed by the Alexandria Fire Department) at a nominal rental fee plus a damage deposit that is refundable in full if the room has been cleaned and left undamaged following the event. The room contains tables and chairs, a big-screen TV, and a DVD player. The Association holds an umbrella license for the screening of movies to groups at social events. The kitchen is equipped with two full-size electric ranges, two microwave ovens, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and china and glassware. Renters of the room are required to provide their own silverware and napkins, plus a vacuum cleaner and supplies for cleanup.

FITNESS CENTER/LIBRARY

The Fitness Center is available for use between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., by residents over the age of 18 years. It contains an elliptical cross trainer, a treadmill, a stationary bike, and a multi-station weight exercise machine. It also houses an informal lending library, where residents may donate and borrow books.

POOL

Weather permitting, the pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and for three weekends after Labor Day during the same hours. Guests must be accompanied by a resident.

TENNIS COURT

The tennis court may be reserved in one-hour increments to a total of two hours for singles or doubles play between March 1 and November 30, from 7 a.m. until nightfall. Guests may play if accompanied by a resident. It is prohibited to give or receive paid lessons on the court.

Enjoy beautiful views year round of Holmes Run, James Marx All Veterans Park, and the Duke Street and Cameron Station area.

TRAILS

The other side of Pickett Street, just steps away, Holmes Run Park offers pleasant trails for walking or biking. It's an easy 10-minute stroll through the park to the Shoppes of Foxchase.There you'll find Harris Teeter, Walgreen, Wells Fargo Bank, Pivot Physical Therapy, Massage Envy, a dry cleaner, a dentist, a computer repair facility, a florist, restaurants, and other retail stores and service providers.
